Description

Been out of the PC game for 4 years. No more uni, no more macbook. Decided to build a tiny yet powerful PC for all the games I've missed out on and for all the games to come.

Now Playing:

  • Borderlands: The Pre Sequel
  • Dark Souls II: Scholars of the First Sin
  • Quadrilateral Cowboy

I noticed that the graphics card is right up against the side of the case, Is there a vent in front of the graphics card?

  • 1 point

Yep! It is plenty large too. On the first picture the LEDs are coming from the card.

Dell U3415W! Can't recommend it enough

The only problem I have with ultrawide monitors is that it costs an insane amount to get a refresh rate of over 100hz.

That's a very nice setup you have, anyways, what keyboard are you using?

It's the Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional 2 (HHKB 2).

Yeah I'm already looking at dust filters for it. They cost more than the case!

I love ITX builds +1, but pondering their innards post completion makes me clausterphobic. That 1070 looks huge in that case lol

Nice build btw, I just finished my build and have the same PSU and GPU. Was wondering did you use a single VGA cable that has the 6pin and 8pin to power your card?

Yep I did exactly that

were you able to get this bad boy sold? pretty sure ya live in my area. I saw it on CL.

couple of ?s

how hard was wire management?

whats the temps look like? would you recommend that case for a quick travel rig?

  • 1 point

Not selling it, I just built it. Must be someone else.

Wire management is pretty tight, but made a lot easier by not using the 5.25" drive bay. Lots of room in there for wires.

Temps have never gotten to 80C. I can very easily move it around my house, but haven't tried traveling with it.

Why waste money on ddr4-3000 when this board is locked at 2133?

Same price for both.

→ Awesome build, thanks for posting! I recently built my first desktop through PCP.com using the CM 130, and I've been looking through some of the other builds, envying their cable management (yours included ;D haha). Duly noted for next time that I should go with a modular power supply if I'm using a small case... (a rookie mistake on my part...)

→ Also, what speakers are those if you don't mind me asking?

  • 1 point

Yes, the fully modular PSU is a must! And the speakers are Audioengine A2s. Very awesome (and portable)

Nice setup and nice monitor man, the kids really enjoyed your desk. How's the i5 6500 and 1070 treating ya @ 1440p? Any bottlenecks?

I'm gonna have to get that monitor myself.

This is site is making me more in debt!

Hello, how do you have your fans set up? I currently using the MSI version of the RX 470 and my case gets warm. Did you use rear 80m fan as exhaust and I noticed you have an extra fan on the side. Is it take air in or out? Thanks.

I have this case and was wondering how to mount the fan on the side where your 120mm black one is. First time I have ever seen a case with a fan there. +1
