Were the cables not long enough to go behind the mobo?

the tj 10 has really bad cable management but its a case with almost unmatched build quality

i would have gone with monitors with a thinner bezel but still an awesome build

the 3 monitors are mostly used for productivity work because eyefinity makes me sick to my stomach

i would either overclock those monitors or get a 120/144hz one

the monitors run at 75Hz w/o overclock but i plan on getting a 1440p monitor for gaming because i dont really like eyefinity

yea seems like a good idea

also with a 1440p moniter you can turn down anti aliasing because of the higher pixel density

can you? that sounds awesome. About how much do you think i could get a 24 inch 1440p monitor for?

  • 1 point

i have seen the as low as 400 buy from korea or china same panel just a rebrand, i mean paul from newegg has one..........

You can't get 24 inch 1440p monitors, you can always go on ebay and get a 27 inch 1440p for around $400 though.

you did an awesome job with cable management despite the case itself not really looking like it can handle it.

thanks, it will get better after the cables are individually sleeved

If your wanting to get another 7970, you might need to get a more powerful power supply? just a suggestion.

  • 1 point

750w can handle 2 7970s just fine.

and my power supply is gold rated but i should use about 660-680 watts, so i may or may not get another power supply

why would you spend $311 on a case like that?

I don't understand what you liked in the case for 300$...

the main thing that i love about this case is the build quality its not rolled steel like all the other cases but milled/machined aluminum, and i got the case on craigslist for $100

Are those prices correct?

  • 1 point

if you where to buy them now retail then yes but i never pay retail got the 7970Ghz for 320 got the ram for free and monitors for 120 each and the mouse for 47 at bestbuy

  • 1 point

You can update your prices with the real price you payed. Helps give perspective on part choices and such.

  • 1 point

yeah i know i just like having retail value so it easier for other people to see what they can get the part for because there might be a lower price than what i paid for

I have same headset and asus monitors! I love your build. I am planning on doing a similar one. That is a good psu and case. The ssd would be called a msata ssd. I have an intel 330s and it preforms very well. It is an mstata drive.

oh no i want to get a ocz veloci drive like 280Gb (its pci-e) not m sata

You forgot the awesome bedroom as well. The 'I just got out of bed' look ties the whole series of pictures together.
