Description

Wanted to build a computer for gaming after using my Xbox for a while and since my mom works at Intel she got me the Asus Z87 Deluxe and the i7 4770k for a good discount and got other parts later down the road. The EVGA gtx 570 i got from my friend for $120. I use the computer to play Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, and Far Cry 3 on high to ultra settings with 40-50 fps with 1920x1080. Hoping to overclock soon... completed the build when I was 12.

Not bad at all, should have invest more in GPU and CPU cooling. As I recall when I'm using my GTX 660 before upgrading to 780 Ti, the FPS never goes beyond 40 FPS average @1080p Ultra setting, not sure how your 570 can do that. Still +1 for ya!

The only thing I recommend is upgrading your storage to a 1TB and upgrading your GPU when you think it is needed. Otherwise, you are set for a long time, friend!

An i7 with a GTX 570? The most any games use is an i5. You could've gotten an i5-4670k with a GTX 760 or even 770. :/

But he got a good deal on the 4770k. Plus he might get into video editing or animating sometime down the line.

and a 570 for 120$ hell i wouldn't pass on that. That will last you atleast 1 year of good performance and then you can upgrade to someone for less than you would pay now.
