Description

As the title suggests this is a 900$ gaming build (got everything on sale).

  1. i got 16gb of memory because it was on sale for $50 (same as most 8gb) and the ram speed is wrong its actually 1600mhz
  2. got 700w because it was on sale for only $10 more than 6oow i finally got my mobo back and have completed the build. it runs very solid and will last me a while. i will try to post some benchmark info soon.

note all the pics are pre cable management.

Personally I would of gotten a more trusted power supply, looks great other than that though.

Great balanced system. I just hope your OCZ products turn out to be reliable. Aside from those I really like your build and can't wait to see pics of the guts!!

Thanks!! I know OCZ isn't as great as some other brands such as corsair and stuff but i read some reviews on the products and they seemed pretty reliable (plus it was really cheap $50 for the psu). It actually worked without a hicup before my motherboard failed so i trust it:).

I'm planning on getting the same motherboard and cooler. I've heard it's huge. Did that cause any problems with RAM or anything else?

There weren't any problems with the cooler and mobo but my RAM had a small heat spreader and only barely cleared it so i doubt that something with larger heat spreaders like tridents or vengeance could be able to clear (unless you use the A2 and B2 ram slots)

also the v6 gt was REALLY friggin hard to install that i would actually recommend 2 people together to install. i also got a couple pretty nasty cuts thanks to the cooler. but in the end i gotta admit it runs amazing and cools better than the corsair h600 according to online review sites.
