Why a Z87 chipset with a 4570? Is the 4570 a completely locked processor, or can you push it a little?

Build looks sweet with the Evga card on the side

He's dual booting OS X, and the recommended motherboard for that is z87 IIRC. Not sure about the CPU

Coming from a gaming perspective, this is a pretty decent computer, although I feel like a 660 is a bit low considering the processor is on the higher spectrum of gaming, and a 660 is lower on the spectrum. If you're not planning on hardcore gaming with this rig though, it's a great build.

P.S. With micro-ATX boards, cable management is extremely important, so I would like to see some pictures showing how well you have the cables managed, if possible :P

A 660 isn't a low end card, but it still isn't a great choice when newer cards such as the 760 are out. And sure, it's more expensive, but it's more for the money and it's not much more.

gtx 660 is fine for now especially for what he's using it for. We were able to get it for $179 so it was a steal. I have the same in my personal rig and I'm able to max out most games But I will upgrade around the time Witcher 3 comes out
