Description

hey guys this is my first build so be gentle :) i started off on a low budget so opted for amd, but as time went on iv upraded alot of my parts and this is what im left with

cpu. very happy with it, even though its somewhat old now it peforms in gaming and streaming very well, and in general is very fast. good value for money

gpu. i love this card! i nearly braught the 770 just as this came out. saved a lil and its an amazing card for the price ( note iv had one fail on my but it was replaced right away and was classed as faulty)

kraken x61. i upgraded from a corsair h80i for overclocking reasons later down the line. i just found this went in my nzxt phantom case alot better and performs very well. also the cams sofware with this is so much better than corsair link imo

ram. whart can i say, 8 gigs and it does just as you would expect

overall, this is primarily for gaming, and it handles all new games at 60 fps and above at 1080p. and i also stream from this and video edit

let me know what you think guys and if you have any questions gimmie a shout :)

did your MSI 970 come with a coupon code for a free game of your choice?

i had it from ebuyer, and no neither of the 2 i had came with a code. i believe overclockers is your best bet for free games with a gpu

Awesome build for the price, but you should have bought the EVGA GTX 970 SSC edition. It is the same price and a very great deal to start with.

Let me know what you think...

The EVGA GTX 970 does not preform as well as the MSI GTX 970 I've benchmarked both, the MSI GTX 970 Gaming G4 is the best GTX 970 out on the market right now.

There is a gaming G4?! What?! Alright, what's the MHz on it.

Thanks

Wait, I just checked it. The MSI is not the most powerful. That is why I chose the EVGA card the FTW and SSC are near the same MHz but the SSC is cheaper
