Description

This is my first full build - I have changed parts in other PCs before but this was the first I have started from scratch. I mainly use this for gaming. I wanted something that I could get decent graphics on games without going overboard on the price. I also wanted a all Black and Red themed build - the case when ordering, the Black and Red case was out of stock so I went with the all Black case instead. Only problem with the case is that I have an Alaskan Malamute pet dog - which are mainly white, and this case will most likely gather a few hairs from my dog due to the paint finish on this case. On my previous PC, playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 - I could only play on low settings and I managed to get anywhere from 25-45 FPS outside of cities and anywhere from 5-15 fps inside cities. On this build, I am able to play on the max settings and get 55-60 FPS everywhere (Only got a 60 Hz Monitor - which is good enough for me). MotoGP 14 would not run on my previous build, on this one, it runs at 25-30 FPS. So, a big, very big improvement over my last computer. I have a Fire Strike benchmark for both previous and this build in the below 2 links; Previous build - http://www.3dmark.com/fs/6248373 This Build - http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7773703

Never seen anyone use a tv stand as an actual desk before. How comfortable is it without any space for your legs

Its not as comfortable but whenever I need to stretch my legs, I tend to stand up for a minute or so. Whenever I use the tele, it is fine, there is enough room due to leaning back on the chair.

Turn the CPU cooler side ways.. You're blowing against gravity. Let it work with that rear exhaust fan.
