Whoopsie. Good spot. Forgot about the 1TB Samsung I put in there. I just had it lying around, so I didn't have to buy it.

Great use of an SSD drive in your build. I'd say there is a 99% chance the OS and AE are installed there! From what I understand, After Effects CS6 can use as much system memory as you can plug into your mainboard for a nice performance gain. The board supports 32GB and you have 2x8gb... another nice move. Do you plan on plugging in another 2x8GB in down the road or do you find this unnecessary?

As far as the HDD goes (asked by Dynamics), I would imagine you have hard drive arrays for faster and massive storage capabilities. Professional folks typically use that stuff... unless you are just doing it for fun on your own.

Nice (and smart) build.

Thanks for the comments. I'm just a duffer really. I know just enough to put this together, but not an IT guy or overly knowledgeable regarding computers. I have a unRAID server at home for all my DVD backups and that gives me another 5+TBs of storage. I did decide to do the 2x8gb RAM in case I felt the need to increase to 32gb. Or if I fell into some more RAM down the line. Yeah, the OS and all my installed programs are on the SSD, everything else is going on the Samsung. Still have 50% free so far on the SSD.
