Description

hi , i mainly will use this build for netflix and mild gaming . lets start off with im aware i shouldve waited for 1070 /1080 , but after a few weeks of testing i plan to give this to my daughter and start fresh. with that being said for the processor nothing she plays requires/demands anything higher then duo core so i thought it was a good pick with upgrading room. motherboard wise my bother has an Asrock z170 but he's ocing so i figured with being locked it will be fine. ram wise i went with 1 stick of kingston hyper X because i've used the brand before and like the price. The cooler i went with the cryorig M9I to see for myself how it was . well it's shaved around 8c idle with artic silver 5 making idle temps between 16 c - 21 and 38c -42c degrees in the new doom on high setting with 40-50 fps Gpu i choose the evga 750 ti SC because on my old phenom i had a 750 non ti and wanted to see if " SC really made a difference and not just a marketing ploy. the answer is it does it runs much cooler and quietly wand has been able to play semi demanding games with ease high to ultra depending on optimization. storage i wasnt really thinking since newegg had them bundled with windows 10 . psu , after reading jonnyguru's review on the supernova 550 g2 and it was on sale i didnt think twice. case : well this build started with a raidmax vortex but arrived damaged ( it looked as if the fedex driver was drifting in a parking lot i was so dented) so i ordered a Zalman z3 plus since my other pc is has thier parts in it and i trust the brand.

I'm confused as to why you budgeted on the PC but then spent a load on "gaming" peripherals

it's half rebates and half what she'll enjoy . she enjoys the looks of the mouse/keyboard and is interested in low demanding games such as world of warcraft. plus 1st time posting and i don't really know how to factor in all the rebates .

Maybe retake the pics. And word of advice: hold the camera steady. About a third of these pics are a blurred mess. I'd love to see the build but it's kinda hard to.

that was actually the cpu i was going to pick but to be honest i was kind of scared of leaving AMD for intel . i guess in away i thought i was taking baby steps. If i had to change anything it would be the cpu , a z170 mobo and a case with better cable management. i've already started research ( which i didn't on this one) on next weeks build
