Hello, and welcome to my newest budget build!
NOTE: My motherboard is a revision newer than the one in my build, and is better overall
Overall this build went well, and performs decently, here is an overview of all the parts, and my opinion on them. The primary use of this build is gaming.
-THE CPU- The CPU works well in most games, I get good FPS in most CPU intensive games. The overclock helped tremendously, though. Yes, I am using the stock cooler with an overclock, but it performs well, but I do plan on upgrading.
-THE MOTHERBOARD- It does the job, and does it well. There is nothing too special here, but here are some reasons I chose it: -Micro ATX: Fits in my case better than a full ATX -8 pin CPU power: Better stability, better support on high power consumption CPUs if I upgrade -Black PCB: Looks better than most low priced motherboards
-THE RAM- Once again, it does the job, and it's 1600mhz RAM. Works well, no complaints.
-THE HARD DRIVE- Plenty of storage for me, decent price and so far reliable. Plenty fast as well.
-THE GPU- This GPU is great. One of the best price-to-performance under $200 in my opinion. Overclocking it to 1100mhz has made it absolutely great. Also, MSI's build quality is absolutely great.
-THE CASE- I have to say, I was disappointed here. It looks great, but there are very few options for cable management. Also, there is no hole in the back so you can not attach a new CPU cooling mounting bracket without removing the entire motherboard.
-POWER SUPPLY- It's a good power supply, and has plenty of power for my build.
-FAN CONTROLLER- A good option for this build to control all the fans. Works very well, good construction, and looks great on this case.
-THE MONITOR- Excellent low budget IPS monitor. Build quality certainly isn't top-of-the-line, but it is good enough. Very little motion blur, and great color reproduction.
Overall, this is an excellent budget build for gamers. If I were to change anything I did, it would be the case, and I would go for something a little better.
