Went with all air in the o11 dynamic. The machine is dead silent. Even under full load it’s almost inaudible. Hope you enjoy it it as much as I do!
Looks dynamite. IMO be quiet! needs more love.
Were you able to benchmark the CPU Coolers? Wraith Prism vs Darkrock TF, I just wonder how much improvement you get. I plan to use the same cooler on an ITX build but I'm still reluctant to spend that much cash while I rank my to-upgrade hardware list.
Amazing build! Love everything about it. I bought this case after seeing it at Microcenter but I wanted to do all air and skip an AIO because I'm scared of horror stories of them breaking and ruining builds. I'm so happy that this can be done in this case. I really like the looks of the stock cooler on the new Ryzen chips but I don't know if it will be good enough for 3900X (not going to overclock). Thoughts?
Edit: how are your fans setup? Have you thought about 3 more intake on bottom?
Yeah. I wanted the reliability of air. And the silent build.
I’d say if your not going to overclock then the stock cooler should be fine.
The three on the side tower are intake and the top is exhaust. With the temps I’m getting I don’t think I need 3 on the bottom. Also with the vertical gpu mount I can’t get 3 down there.
Awesome, thanks for the input. I thought you could fit 3 on bottom even with vertical mounts, maybe not. What vertical mount did you go with? I've heard Cooler Master's is decent with this case.
Lian Ali actually makes a vertical mount for this case. So that’s the one I went with.
Ah, that's why, I think that one blocks bottom fans but some others do not.
Nice. I didn’t know the others would work with bottom fans. I may need 3 more silent wings lol. Thanks for sharing the video and thanks for the build love.
How well does the Ryzen 7 deal with quad channel ram? I want to use a Ryzen 7 3700x and figured the ram issues would be similar?
Clean build! Please add some pics with the glass on
