Build

Lian Li 011 Dynamic Storm Trooper

by ezeev

Description

I absolutely love this case. Such a cool design that works great with an AIO. Cooling so far is fantastic. One part not listed is the Corsair Commander Pro (RGB hub).

I love that case! They were out of stock when I built mine unfortunately... My only question is, how many frames you get on Black ops at 1440?

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

Thanks, I was waiting for the case to come back in stock before I pulled the trigger. I bought it the morning NewEgg had it again last week.

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

I haven't played Black Ops yet. Still loading games. I get about 80-90 FPS (min-max) on Battlefield V on a 3440 x 1440 G-Sync ultrawide with the highest settings. Link to the monitor:

Nice build, love the white theme.

Finally, a radiator AIO mounted in the side chamber with fans in the main! I guess I missed your build.

I love the white fans with this radiator setup. I'm waiting for EK to release some white Vardar fans.

Literally about to pull the trigger on buying all my parts for my build. Then I came across yours, and we literally have almost the same exact parts for everything haha. You got good taste.

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

Go for it! Smoothest build I've ever done. I wouldn't do anything different :)

Kosta_Kop 2 points 1 month ago

Nice build, love your parts list

I wish I had a PC as good as this!

Nice build!

Thank you!

:o the radiator is supposed to go in the back of the case! This is a revelation

ezeev submitter 1 Build 2 points 1 month ago

This case is unique in that regard. The top or side are the best options for the radiator with this case:

Instead of pulling in air from the front, and out the back, it's designed to go from bottom to top (and side).

Lots of fans.

Nice build! What software do you use to control the graphics card lighting?

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

Gigabyte has their own software for that called RGB Fusion.

EthanA55 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

It's compatible with the card? Sorry, I tried a couple of times to download it hit couldn't find the exact site

I'm considering buying that graphics card you have but i've had problems with gigabyte gpu's having coil whine in the past. So just wondering if you have coil whine when playing games?

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

I'm not getting any coil whine from the graphics card after a few days of gaming. The whole PC is a lot quieter than I expected. The AIO may have something to do with that.

Looks great, only thing you're missing is some nice custom cables to match your color scheme.

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

Thanks! I thought about white cables but wonder if it would be overkill.

PcNooB-_- 1 point 1 month ago

Hey so I was wondering did you end up using both fan hubs and lnps or just one? Also I'm not fully sure on what the point if the commander pro is could you maybe explain that to me thanks

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 1 month ago

Yes, you still need both fan hubs. The connections work like this. Both sets of 3 fans connect to the hubs. The commander pro has 2 RGB controller inputs. Each hub connects to the commander pro RGB hub.

I wondering if the white corsair ll120 case fans are loud? 2200 rpm's seems pretty fast and very loud.

ezeev submitter 1 Build 1 point 25 days ago

Honestly I was/am surprised how quiet the system is. I keep it on my desk relatively close to where I sit. This is the first PC I've built in close to 10 years so perhaps fan technology has just gotten a lot better.

This video touches on the sound w/ 9 fans in this case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU6vIDpNaxw
