I bought this SSD back in 2012 for my MBP. Simply reusing it in this build as I bought a MBP retina.

I most definitely did pay a lot for it back in 2012 =( $520 to be exact... Oh how SSDs are so cheap now.

I thought that you needed a reference video card in order to do a hackintosh or else you'd need to do a BIOS/UEFI mod/hack. Bigger description please.

I used my onboard GPU to install all the drivers needed to run a GTX 780 Ti. Though it was a complete pain to do since the GTX 780 Ti needed nvidia drivers and the native OS X drivers didn't work with it.
