+1 For The Name?? ;)
Well this is my school laptop, a Dell Latitude 3340. It's nothing impressive, It does my daily school affiliated tasks, and a few "Classic Games" That I throw at it, during those Massive, 30 People ISLPs' (In School LAN Parties). So yeah, since I neglect to post my main rig, I will post this one while I make the final touches on my Krait Box.
CPU - i3-4030U
This CPU is not bad in the least! With 2 cores and 4 threads, it is quite capable...SCREW YOU INTEGRATED GPU... It preforms fantastic for school work, and on a variety of different games, of which you can "Benchmarks" below.
CPU Cooler - Dell Blower Dissipation Thing
Now, this is where I was EXTREMELY suprised, I do a lot of Sketch Up work and really intensive stuff, and the CPU fan makes not even a squeak. Extremely Impressed :)
Motherboard - Dell 0VF1F3
After scouring the internet for the internal components of the laptop (Since, if I open it I will be in quite the
**** Storm )
RAM - 1x4 DDR3L SODIMM Crucial 1600MHz
I mean...it's memory... It would have been nice to have 8GB so I could have more of those RAM hogging Google Chrome tabs open while I listen to Spotify, Play Games, etc...
Storage - 500GB WD Caviar Blue 7200RPM
An SSD would've been nice...'Nuff Said
"Graphics Card" - Intel Integrated Graphics 4400
I'm also extremely impressed here, with around 1.5ish GB of Shared VMem, playing oldies like Halo: Combat Evolved/Smite/Doom are very playable and look amazing on that "Extra Crispy" Display. Also, recently I was able to transfer some games from my steam library over to a 64GB USB Drive, and I've been playing Enter the Gungeon a lot recently :)
Case - Laptop Housing
Can't really say much. I've been very clumsy and dropped the thing 10 or so times, withheld its integrity really well, no real damage besides scuffs and scratches.
Power Supply - 65W Power Cord
Enter the Gungeon - Medium Settings - Really Smooth Gameplay**
Minecraft - Pretty Low Settings ( 9 Chunks) - 45-60FPS
Halo: Combat Evolved: Max Settings - 60FPS
** I can't get an FPS Counter on my Laptop, so I had to Improvise :)
Overall, this is a fair build for the price, especially since it is an Education Especiale. I wouldn't recommend buying this for editing and Medium-Hardcore gaming. If you are a Business Man/Woman, this would be perfect for you :)
Thanks for taking the time to look at my Build (It's a Prebuilt Laptop...). Now I'm going to get back to some 4K Crysis Gameplay on my Quad-SLI Beast (Really...It's a prebuild Laptop...)
