Description

Mostly for gaming, with an occasional bit of office related tasks thrown in. Some parts were scavanged from my previous desktop while (some) others were picked up at discounted prices, so the real price is probably closer to around $1200. In the future an M.2 drive might follow as well, but for now I'm quite sattisfied with what I put together here :-)

Quite good. The case is quite roomy allowing for decent airflow (and ambient temps in my room are not too high which helps as well). The CPU idles near silent around 32 celcius and under stress (using CPU-Z) temps are stable around 52 celcius with my fans running at about 60%. I can hear them, but not so much it bothers me. So I’m content :-)

Nope. It came ‘AMD Ryzen 3000 Ready’ out of the box. No need for an update :-)

Most boards for sell now are already updated, but it is always a good idea to check this with the vendor (look on the box, it is clearly labelled if it is ready out of the box for the 3000-series).
