Description

This was my first build. I am a college student that plays FIFA exclusively. I wanted to build a computer to a) replace my 2009 desktop b) run FIFA better and c) do something technical during my winter break. I thought boxing day/week was a good time to snag some deals, and I feel like I snagged quite a few. All parts except the i7 4770k was purchased on sale at Canada Computers. The processor I got used from a connection. My budget was $800 and I was told I could make something decent but this has far surpassed my expectations and needs.

The R9 290 is huge. Barely fit in my chassis and had to trim down my USB 3.0 connector to plug in with the GPU plugged in.

I think I did alright with the cable management.

This was a fun experience. Posting to contribute to the community that made this easier for me.

Yes, my mistake. I could not find the Z12 Plus nor the Z12 on the PCPartsPicker catalog
