Description

6700k and 1070 are both beast. running most of my games at 5760x1080 without a sweat. I was a bit weary at first with doing the white theme. In the end, i think this combo looks amazing, and the case was a dream to work in. very quiet.

The 1070 comes with a yellow "SC" light that really threw off the white/black theme. If anyone is interested, the card is quite easy to disassemble to unplug that light.

There should be a mesh grill under your power supply so that you can flip the powersupply upside down allow it to exhaust its hot air outside of the case. I also recommend moving your 1070 to the upper x16 slot on the motherboard. Nice color scheme and computer!

Thanks for the suggestion. I didnt take into consideration that the PSU is completely exhausting on the card.

That SABERTOOTH board is meant for this case. Very clean.

CPU not overclocked? Also hows the air in the computer, are the dual 120mm CPU fans acting as an Intake or Exhaust?

Eh, he may not have seen a large difference in performance while gaming, but the i7-6700k feels soooo good. My wife's computer has the i5-6500 (not overclockable) and I have the i7 6700k and mine does just seem to have an edge in general use. Other variables are there (I have more ram and a bit better GPU) but I think the i7 is still a valid choice. Plus, the CPU is usually about the last thing to go bad in a system so why not put some extra money in it. It will be with you for a long time and you can potentially re use it in a later build.

I think your build is beautiful and your i7 choice is not misplaced.
