Description

Pretty nice looking PC, not completely lit up like my 1060 build, but it makes a lot less light which is nice for falling asleep to a youtube playlist.

Crushes games on high settings, but aside from render distance and texture detail/card memory, I'm not big on quality. Built to sell, hope they like this PC!

Part Reviews

CPU

Wow, I really like this processor. My personal build uses a 1700x, this thing is definitely better for gaming though.

Motherboard

Probably my new favorite motherboard. The built in wifi is okay in a pinch, but I'll always be an ethernet b****.

Memory

First time trying out Team RAM. I was scared something would go wrong because so far I've stuck with the stock options of either Corsair or G-Skill, but Team is great.

Storage

I'm not a fan of HDD's, but I guess a lot of people have a bunch of stuff to store. I don't!

Video Card

Low performance for a 1080, but it's a blower card, it throttles. Otherwise a very, very good card that I got open box for a reasonable price.

Case

LOVE this case. Looks so nice, tempered glass, and any case with a shroud is my best friend. I suck at cable management.

Power Supply

What's there to say? Its a corsair CX.

Case Fan

These fans look great, are very quiet, and move a lot of air.

Case is amazing man, I love it too. If I were you id move the stock thermaltake fan to the top (exhaust) and the front bottom (intake) fan to the back(exhaust). Because in its current position its just dragging dust into the psu shroud. Just a suggestion coz I own a similar model

Yeah, the shroud definitely stops the bottom fan from being efficient in any meaningful way. People really like that 3 fan in the front look though. Thanks for the suggestion! (although this PC already got sold!)

Very nice build for $800 and change. Well done! I recall this GPU being like $800 by itself when it first came out. Nice job at finding it and assembling this gaming beast. I would love to see some close up pics w/ it off. Thumbs up from me. Enjoy!
