Description

This is my first ever Gaming PC build. It took me at least the entire day to finally complete the process, but other than that, no issues. I can finally run all my games in 1080p and Max settings. It might not be great like everyone else's rig's, but I am looking forward to upgrading my build in the future.

I purchased the majority of my parts from Amazon and Newegg. I got Windows 10 from Fry's Electronics. The GTX 1060 was on sale via Amazon. Corsair case fan( Twin pack ): https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-AF120-Quiet-High-Airflow/dp/B00F6S0XJO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1507397045&sr=1-1&keywords=Corsair+Air+Series+AF120+LED+Quiet+Edition+High+Airflow+Fan+Twin+Pack

7/29/ 17: Just got myself a Seagate 2TB barracuda hard drive.

10/2/17: upgraded my cpu cooler, I was considered going to liquid cooling at first but I decided to go traditional fan cooling. I got myself a cryorig M9i. Intel's stock cooler: idle 50-65° gaming: 70-85° (Depending on game) cryorig M9i: idle 32-41°( mostly on 30's) gaming 40-59°(Depending on game)

1/26/18: one of my corsair Vengeance memory sticks failed. I got myself the Patriot Viper Elite, soon will upgrade the power supply

Storage

I highly recommend getting this hard drive for you're everyday use. I pretty much use this to store a bunch of files and especially gaming.

Very nice for a first built. Way to come in under $1500! Don't forget that the GTX 1060 are made for overclocking. Just make sure to watch a few videos on Youtube before trying to change any of the settings.

A very nice build! I would definately upgrade my Motherboard though in the future, but you still have a 110% solid build!
