I was walking through a junkyard and I found a Dell Optiplex 755 with missing parts, I brought it home, fixed it up and now it works fine.
I had to use a leafblower to clean it
I love it! :-)
I did something similar but with a SFF OptiPlex 780, and it's really cool to see others breathe new life into older hardware. :-D
fps in anything?
30-40 in half life and left 4 dead
This reminds me of the old OptiPlexes that I've salvaged from university. Good on you for saving this old-timer. I love it. +1
It had a sticker on the side panel that said a name of a school district
Now you need to stuff it with LED fans :D
Good Idea :)
One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Hope you're happy with this build!
what parts was it missing?
it look like the back IO shield for the expansion slots is missing
the card wouldn't be able to fit the back io shield
He can't even put the side panel on it, the card is too big.
he will need to use those low profile cards
also he will need to find the L shaped PCI-E x16 adapter
similar to what the FD Node 202 is using
+1 from me.
I think I shall go to a junkyard and see what pc parts I can get...
