Description

Used a hand-me-down AMD FX-8120 and AMD HD 7870 and built my first pc around it. It's like night and day from the slimline dual-core Dell I was using and I couldn't be happier for the price.

Nice rig. I suggest upgrading to a FX 8370 if you want to see another jump in performance.

Thanks. I was told the psu and mobo were a bit overkill, but they will hopefully allow for some decent upgrades for a few years to come.

Same case similar build. Freaking amazing budget build dude. Great job getting those hand me downs.

A bit late to reply by a few months, but thanks! I have yet to run into anything that it can't handle beautifully. Now that it's summer I'm definitely feeling the heat that it's blowing at me while gaming, so I think a relocation is in order so it's not aimed directly at my knees, but otherwise I'm happy with the look and performance.
