Description

I built this system for music production as well as some gaming.my DAW of choice is FL Studio 12 as of now runs flawlessly with multiple Vsts running without audio clipping and data loss or should i say CPU overload. i didnt go over my budget even with ram and gpus being overpriced priced luckily i found a gtx 1060 6gb for close to msrp.

Love AMD CPUs because their stock fans are great so I don't have to buy a new fan and Price to Performance is better than Intel.

True! thats why i went with AMD again! price to performance you cant beat them. espically when you look at there 2nd gen chips,8 cores! for 300 bucks you cant go wrong there.

i used to own the 1500x it was a fantastic processor but i did upgrade to the r7 1700 when i needed to render video and produce at the same time (fl 11:P) but great build ! I still run a 1060 3gb because gpu prices i need to upgrade to a 1070 if prices ever come down

Wait, do you have the GTX 1060 3g or 6gb?

Air_Strike 1 point 13 months ago

he has a 1060 6gb i got a 3gb because the 6gb ones were like $400 at microcenter and i said hell no and settled for a 3gb 1060, she can still run tf2 cs and overwatch maxed out over 100 fps and the vram dosent limit me that much. (if you wanted to know the music i make is hop hop/trap yes ik :P)

Im late here lol, anyway i agree it is a decent processor! though im thinking about upgrading to a 2700x its kind of hard to pass up 8 cores! especially for music production, though this system runs fine as is for my purposes.

Air_Strike 1 point 6 months ago

you could upgrade to the 2700 non x because the difference between them isnt too much

Lonerdo 2 points 8 months ago

kiz215 submitter 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago
