Description

hi im a 14 year old boy from the netherlands who switched from console to pc. i did months and months of research and finally i build this system. i made alot of choices and spent alot of money but im super happy with it. i will explain every single component of my build.

cpu: the i5 is geat for gaming and guys like me with a 1000 dollar budget. and i got grid 2 for free!! cpu cooler: i am not a overclocker so this cooler was perfect for me. i read good reviews and it can overclock to around 4.6 ghz no problem. mobo: great for the price alot of features and perfect for my color scheme, red/black ram: now i first got the ripjaws from g.skill but they seemed to be brokn. so i went back to the store and got the kingston hyperX beasts for free!! ssd:amazing. windows starts up in 8 sec. reccomend it to anyone. hdd: just a simlpe 1 tb harddrive for pics movies and music. video card: im not that guy with a extreme 780 so just this card, a gtx 760, and im blown away by its performance. easy 60 fps in every game on ultra. its a great step from intel hd 3000(our family pc) the msi twin frozr does a great job at cooling. case:its so huge. he uilt in fan controller is pretty neet and i like the design alot. psu:its a psu for now, it does get the job done. soon gonna be upgrading to a tx 850 or something. odd: a simple samsung drive:) os: i hate windows 8 monitor: grreat i love it always gamed on a 19 inch with 800x600. finally 1080p :_) the colors are good and it works well with my p3 too. the only thing is it doesnt come with hdmi. keyboard: my first mechanical keyboard. its so light! have to gey used to it but it feels really good.

that was it. u all know that feeling when you build your first pc and press the power button. i was so excited. so i pressed the button. powers up but no boot. i was shocked. i even cried to be honest maybe sounds stupid. all the money and afford. i asked around on pcpartpicker and tomshardware and removed one ram stick. and it worked. so got the ripjaws replaced with kingston beasts.

i am currently not @ home so i will make some pics of my rig and setup when im home :)

sorry for the way too long description and sorry for my bad english dont blame me im only 14 and dutch so.

btw is 41 pretty hot for my cpu. the i5 2500k from the family pc is around 56 with stock cooler. the room temprature was 30 degrees, very hot summer day.

anyways have a nice day and the pics will come soon maybe tonight:)

Need internal pics. my CPU (4770) temp is under 30 idling,I'm using the H100i though. If you're not an overclocker you could have saved some money on the CPU. If you had bad RAM, took it back and got new RAM for free you should edit your parts list to reflect that.

Because I'm Dutch as well:

Goed gedaan jochie, deze build gaat zonder problemen zeker een jaar of 4 mee. Zeker voor jouw leeftijd, je hebt goed onderzoek gedaan en dat loont in een super PC. Alles uitzoeken en in elkaar zetten is nog veel leuker als de PC gebruiken vind je niet?

Van mij krijg je een +1.

Because I speak/write English for more than 17 years and want everyone to know what I just said:

Good job, this build is going to last for at least 4 years without a problem. Especially good build for your age, you did some nice research which results in a superb PC. Don't you think that researching and putting it together is much more fun than using the PC itself?

You deserve a +1.
