Description

This was my first real build I have ever done. Its been running fine for about a year now and I've done several upgrades throughout that time. I built this primarily for gaming and some miscellaneous use. I upgraded from a 370 to a 480 recently. The fx-6300 is overclocked to 4.7 Ghz at about 1.41 v. I havent overclocked the 480 yet but I plan on trying that later on. I added in a Sylvania RGB led lighting strip which ended up being kind of sketchy, but it works. I have two additional drives besides the 1 TB WD drive, one of which is a 64 gb WD SilicolnEdge Blue which is not very good, but I managed to get it for free and it works as a Windows boot drive. The other is some 150gb laptop drive which again, while not very good, was free and I use that as a boot drive for Linux Mint. There are two additional fans in the top of the case and I added another fan to the 212 Evo.

I will acknowledge that there are some major budget imbalances in this build, but I started out cheaper and kind of built up from there while trying not changing to Intel.

Yeah, the weird looking one is actually a Samsung AIO I had so I used it as a second monitor. It doesn't look the best but it works! Also I found out that those are Sylvania LED strips
