Description

Dear God, Dear God, Tinkle Tinkle Hoy!

'Twas on January 18 of 2015 when I bought my first build:

  • A6-5400K

  • MSI A58M-E33

  • Gigabyte GT630

  • Corsair CX430

  • Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB

  • WD 500GB HDD

  • DIYPC MA01-G Case

Now look where I've gotten myself. My first build cost me $220. Now this one cost me $925. Just beautiful to me.

I named it Punpun after my favorite manga series, "Oyasumi Punpun." AMAZING story and will always be in my heart (If you like manga, but you're depressed, don't read this manga. You might get deeper inter depression. Very dark).

CPU I upgraded from my 8350 to the 4690K because my PC was giving me issues with windows and I just thought it was time to get rid of the entire thing. This CPU is a beauty of it's own. It can handle almost anything I throw at it with the GPU by it's side.

Cooler There was a NewEgg deal of this cooler refurbished for $45 dollars. Ironically, I as looking all over that day for a CPU cooler to buy that was exactly $45. That was a sign for me to get this thing. It's a great cooler. Instructions aren't very clear so I advise you to youtube it while you're doing the installation.

Mobo I originally got the MSI Z97-G45, but I messed up and spilled alcohol all over it. I fried it when that happened. I told the seller what happened and he sent me another one. The thing wouldn't post so I RMA'd it. It came back and the same thing happened, no post. I then bought this Sabertooth for $117 and was certain that it was good. Still no post. I was then 100% certain that I fried the CPU. I was just about to sell it to someone for $65 when a redditor told me that you can check it's warranty on the Intel website. I called them, it's under warranty, and sent it to RMA. It came back and BOOM, a beautiful post. Was gonna sell this board for an easy $140, but I like it too much so I now have a extra Z97 board now.

GPU Thing was $210 brand new, AND it was in my state. That was another sign to get this baby. It's amazing. This combo with the 4690K, both at stock speed, can run GTA V on the highest possible graphics settings at an average of ~75 FPS. I love it, man. I love it.

Monitors "How'd you get them for so cheap?" That's the power of eBay. I've been on eBay for years now with 303 feedback. I know what to look for and what's good or not. Funny that I bought both of these monitors from the same guy. Great price, great picture.

Mouse I was playing TERA when I bought the thing and stopped after getting tired of the repetition of the game, I built this PC specifically for Black Desert and will be playing that and Blade and Soul when they come out. It's a great mouse and I absolutely love it. Only problem I have with it is that GTA V will screw with the button colors on the side. I dunno if that's a me problem, but that's one thing to know.

Overall, I watch anime on this thing, PC gaming, and use photoshop for Twitch streams. It's a beauty of my own. Let's see how far it'll take me.

If you have any questions about ANY of these parts, just comment and I'll reply.
