I'll add a walk-through and more photos in a day or two.
Had to be a little budget-conscious here. I'll drop in a beefier video card next year (I already had the 1660 from my previous machine), but for now this should play just about anything out there at decent (60fps or so) frame rates.
It would be entirely appropriate stay under 60 FPS with this case, since Fallout itself behaves strangely if you render too fast. I will probably never reach your level in the game — but I have created a character in my own likeness, because being S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is its own reward!
Being S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is what it's all about, baby!
Fallout just happens to be one of my favorite properties, and while I was planning on doing a new build and looking at case options NZXT released this Limited Edition Case, and I couldn't resist, however, I do play more than just Fallout!
I've definitely seen a major performance improvement in everything from GTA V to Civilization VI, and now I'll be able to jump into some newer games I couldn't before. (Which, let's face it, is the main reason for building a new rig in the first place, yeah?)
Yo how is the Kraken treating your rig? I am planning to get it for my own Fallout setup.
It's been great so far—I haven't put it through any real "stress tests" or anything, but playing Fallout (3, NV, 4, & '76), GTA V, WoW, Witcher II, The Sims, and Civ V have given me no trouble at all. The fans kick up every so often but only for a few seconds—so far everything runs quiet and cool.
