Description

I originally had a gtx 680 in this system but unfortunately it died and I had to return it for a full refund. went with a 7970 instead.

I build this pc build about a month and a half ago as a reward for finishing out the semester with 4.0. I built this computer primarily for Gaming and Streaming but have found my self using for more casual surfing and watching movies.... go figure.

I originally had a $2200 budget but ended up spending only 1700 and figured id save the rest for maybe a third monitor down the line, a second 7970 if they ever reduce the micro stuttering, or just put it right to my next build.

Anyways here is the part list: i7 3770k over clocked to 4.6ghz MSI Radeon HD 7970 TF3 Samsung 840 120gb WD 7200 RPM 1 tb HD Corsair AX 750 Corsair Vengeance 8gb (4gbx2)

Fans: x4 NZXT case fans x3 gelid wings 12 (slim) x3 Gentle Typhoon AP15s

Watercooling stuff: XSPC 5.25 inch bay res/pump XSPC RX 360 45mm thick rez XSPC RAYSTORM CPU block EK 7970 full nickel block (with back plate) EK Fittings XSPC FLX UV tubing

Lighting: PHOBYA UV Flex Lights x2 (120 mm) XSPC single LED Lights blue x2

I love the monitor and the case both, although I kinda wish I got a corsair 900d for better cable management and more rad space.

You'd be droppin $350 on a case though, I just like to remember that there will always be something better than the thing I currently have so I wouldn't sweat it.

This is true and is really the only reason I didn't go for the 900d. I probably would have gone for it if was 250 or under however

The monitor is amazing, I love mine. There is a DEFINITE difference between 60FPS and 144FPS.

To be honest i really don't like looks of the Heatkiller blocks and i think the color of it would clash way too much.

They perform the best. Also you can get either the copper version or the nickel version. I can't see the nickel version clashing with the colors too much.
