Description

I intended to use this computer to start making 3D animations and renders and some gaming such as some nice Need For Speed or some Battlefield 4. The entire build went very smoothly and there was plenty of space in the case for everything I put in it. I had no issues building this PC even though it was my first time, really recommend this GPU as it can easily handle BF4 on almost max graphics. I have not yet tried overclocking anything but I am planning to OC my CPU as soon as I get a better cooler because the stock one isn't gonna cut it.

Boot time: about 30 seconds for everything to load up.

This was my Christmas and 15th birthday present, even though I chose the parts.

You should, it's really big and perfect for a first-timer!

Good build; I think that it is pretty solid. An upgrade that you would like would be an SSD, because the boot times are INSANE. The Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB is a really solid SSD, and there is a 120 GB version as well. BTW I have the same RAM as you.

Happy Building!

I had to double check to see if I was at newegg, all I see is pictures of parts. I come here for PC ****, not pictures of parts, newegg has that covered for me.

modular is a good investment. I bought a non mod 430w corsair PSU, and if you don't have a case with good cable management options, its a pain finding somewhere to put extra molex or sata cables

Nice! I have the same gpu and case as you, but all my other stuff is worse than yours :)

How is the Mobo? I'm cutting down on my PC price and this looks like a good board

Actually, I accidentally saved another build as this one and it updated this list, but the mobo that I have is the Z87-G41 PC Mate and it's okay for such a cheap board. It has all the features that I need for now, though I haven't tried overclocking my CPU because of my stock cooler. All in all, it is a really good board for the price and I would recommend you it.

Love this build! Everything is balanced and it's damn powerful. You should post some interior pictures of that build, I expect great cable management if you do :P

Trust me, you do not want to see the cable management :P And yes indeed it is powerful as hell.
