Description

Main production machine, use it for work, gaming, and as a mirror (thanks to the great Phanteks case.)

My previous build was using an acrylic case from 2007, and finally a case came out that I couldn't resist.

Could you explain how is that you have your airflow going on?, cause right now I'm a little confused with your fans setup. :\

I know this is kind of late..

The two fans at the front of the case + the cpu cooler fan intake air. The fan at rear of teh case is the exhaust. There's a PSU exhaust fan pointed downward at the bottom of the case, and the intake is at the bottom facing the rear.

The front fans direct air into the main cabin as well as that boxed off area, where my HDD and PSU sit.

This is a clever build, although the lack of DDR4 RAM and only 370 GB of storage tends to make me a bit averse to it. I would suggest you drop out the OCZ Agility for a Hybrid SSD if you ever wanted to use it for gaming or anything else that requires a little storage space.

If that r9 290 is bugging you I would suggest the arctic accelero xtreme iii. I put it on and temps stay between 70-80 full tilt at 50% fan speed. The intructions were also very good on several different forums. The other option is the hg10 and nzxt g10 but those do not come with a cooler and are missing vrm cooling.

Thanks's for the recommendation. It has been bugging me, but the card works well enough that I don't want to replace it just yet. I'm going to consider your suggestion.
