Description

I record my gaming experiences, render and edit them into videos. This was also my first build so i went a bit balls to the wall on some things but i was fortunate enough to be in a good financial situation at the time to not care about expenses. Enjoy ,Comment ,Like and subscribe to scottPGplayPC on Youtube if you wanna :) BTW the CPU temp at load is at 100% load and on balanced setting(H80i software). Ive taken apart both video cards and re-apllied the thermal paste plus use a custom fan profile(EVGAprecision X). Everything ive done is to make it as cool as possible while still being quiet. I have succeeded IMO :) 3DMark 11 Fire strike:8222 Soon to add Fire Strike Extreme score and Unigine Heaven and Valley scores.

Why SLI 660s? Why not a 780?

Actually SLi 660s is a bit more powerful than a 780... But I agree with you that a better choice is a GTX 780.

I somewhat disagree there. If you had said the 680, then i would be fully on board. But a single 780 is much better IMO. Also saves ya money on the power bill

I had 1 660 already from my store bought Asus computer i upgraded and didnt wanna deal with the hassle of selling it to then purchase(at the time of launch the 780 was a lil pricey) the 780. Plus ive never been one to buy anything thats "brand new" i wait a gen or two and ive been succesfully lucky through out my electronic purchases thus far -i still have a working xbox 360 20Gb i believe 3rd gen(the 60 Gb came out the week after i bought it lol) But yeah, that be why mon :)

Decent build, mate. A more in-depth description would help explain your choices, like SLI 660s.

You might want to clean up those cables and why SLI? It's overkill for a single 1080p monitor.

I have another monitor , i just dont use it. Im also saving for a better single monitor thats 120Hz, and if things go as planned at least 2k(would rather 4k but unless amazon is gonna have another killer sale, its not happenin lol) And cable management is really crap with that psu in that case , things are way to tight so i had to loosen up some other cords to make it easier to passthrough the back. in fact if you notice the black and yellow cable that bends to the left and up coming out of the PSU, i had to do that to make it fit up to the main MOBO power source(newb here unsure of the proper terms and im a lil baked-no googling lol)
