Description

I built this computer to replace an old Dell for school work and playing Minecraft. Runs well on Windows 7 and does what I need it to do. 60 Gb is enough space because i keep all my files on a nas.

CPU/motherboard- came as a combo at a swap meet for $25

SSD- spare from a computer that had its SSD upgraded

CPU cooler- works well, is quiet, and keeps the CPU cool

Ram- left over from an old computer that died

Case- cheap but it works for this build

PSU- going to get an Antec PSU sometime soon to replace the bad one that is in the system now

Wireless card- from the old Dell

Very cool. I did a build yesterday with that case. For $20 it can't be beat.

It runs at 30 fps on fancy

OptiFine should increase the fps to around 45-60. my crappy 5 year old laptop of this spec can run it at 90 tops, 50 average.

Nice to see that you haven't wasted all the good parts from the old PC, what FPS does it get on minecraft min settings? Just curious

You should invite me to your minecraft server. The one I'm in is "G" rated, and I just don't fit in there. :D
