Description

After moths of waiting, I finally built this computer. After realizing the advantages of building a computer (No crapware, fully customized, easy to upgrade) I deiced to build a desktop computer. It preforms well, boot times are fast.

The only thing I regret is the GPU, which not only lags behind other GPUs but uses GDDR3 RAM which is slow. While I thought is was logical to get a low-end GPU since all I play is Minecraft, I could have gotten a Radeon R7 260X for not much more.

I am satisfied with this build, It fits my needs perfectly and while I will have to upgrade the GPU when I get into more demanding games such as CS:GO or Battlefield 4 it is still a fairly desktop.

Planned Upgrades

Part Reviews

CPU

A solid quad-core CPU without overclocking.

Storage

An SSD is a must in build over 500$. Boot times are less than 10 seconds and programs start almost instantly.

Video Card

If you don't do hardcore gaming (Or almost any gaming for that matter) then this is OK. But it only has GDDR3 RAM which is slower.

Case

Very sleek, made of metal and has everything you need including front USB 3 ports. The fans are a bit loud but overall a very good case.

the SSD seems like a poor allocation of funds to me, to be honest, you could've bought both a 1tb hard drive and a low space ssd for about the same price of that one SSD. On the topic of your GPU upgrades, 750ti for sure, that thing packs one hell of a punch for how small it its.

The integrated graphics on the i3 in my laptop from 2012 can run csgo at playable framerates. No idea how you consider it demanding unless you're wanting to run it 4k...

Save up for the 260x. This will be a much better PC.
