Description

Hey there, Today I've built a PC for my friend. Here are his requirements: - Needs WIFI, since his room doesn't have ethernet - Black/White color theme (At least for the PC) - Can run games at over 60 fps

So I got to work, with a budget of 2500, I've got this part list:

CPU: i7 6700k He wants a fast processor to run emulators and run many different tasks on his screen, so I chose this CPU for him and it gives enough room for future upgrades.

Motherboard: z170 Deluxe I was planning to get a z170-a, but then I realised that there is no WIFI in the motherboard. Since I don't want to install another card risking another chance to have problem, I've chosen the Deluxe instead.

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16 GB I've first went for Geil's white Dragon Ram, but unfortunately, one of them didn't work so I bought him the HyperX Fury ones instead, since they're more reliable.

GPU: GTX 1070 Hall Of Fame When I've heard that there's a Hall of fame version of the 1070 available in my area, I can't chose any other GPU that can fit the build more. With a beautiful metal backplate and a white cooler, no other card can beat this in terms of aesthetics.

Monitor: ASUS PG278Q Why? Cuz It looks amazing at 144hz, 1440p. He mainly plays CS, so I figured that this monitor would be the best.

I think that this is worked pretty well and he's very happy with the build, so I hope you'll like it too :)

Thanks for reading and have a good day!

I know this is an old post, but did you try to put the support stick for the GPU in the case? I'm just curious because I'm about to pull the trigger on buying it and I don't want GPU sag.

EDIT: Didn't notice the H100i, do you think it would fit without that?

Sorry for the super late response, but the length of the stick is too long for the interior of the case, so even without the water cooler it still wouldn't fit.

The card runs surprisingly well, its very quiet. Sadly, I didn't have enough time to test the card out but my friend says that he can run any game at 1440p with no problem.

Hi, I'm Eletato's friend. The PC he helped me build is amazing. I can run cs:go at 120+fps and the internet speed is extremely fast
