Description

Right, here's my first PC that I've built, totally overkill but idgaf. Saved for 6ish months to build this and it went really well. No issues at all, booted first time, installed windows with no issues. Pretty proud of it even if it's not that great compared to other PCs in this price range/similar parts area.

Also, sorry for the bad quality photos. My phone camera is busted and I had to use a tablet.

EDIT I should have put this originally because there are a lot of comments about it, don't worry, I am well aware that I cannot overclock on a H170 MB. I got the 6700k from a rather good sale and didn't want to pass up that opportunity. I will be upgrading to a Z170 soon. Also, was going to go with the RM650 but couldn't actually find one here in NZ for a good price as at the time of purchase, the only places I could find selling them had really high prices, pretty much the same for a RM750, so I went for the bigger PSU cos yolo.

It's nice. I don't understand the motherboard choice, but maybe you just wanted the 4.0 base clock for you cpu and let it turbo up. It will still game like a monster.

6700K with a h170? Seems like a waste of power

If you can, refund that mobo an get a Z170 one. Why? Because you can't overclock on a "H" mobo if you want to. Or, if you don't want to overclock, refund the i7 6700K and get i5 6600 (yes, without the "K").

Nice build! I will say tablet camera pics suck.... I feel robbed of my viewing pleasure of this build.

I feel money could've been used a little differently, instead of that RM PSU, an EVGA 750W G2 for $79.99 could've saved you money, and you could have put a little more into your SSD, for a couple bucks more you could have gotten the 250 GB version, or put it into your motherboard and get an Z motherboard.
