Description

I do a lot of traveling for my job and only home 3 months out of the year. I got tired with my SAger NP5970WM, so I decided to make a (somewhat) portable system that i could take with me.

Now this is my current build, I will be adding things to it later down the road.

*One thing that annoyed me was the PCI-E power cables to the GPU stuck out so much that it wouldn't close properly, so i googled a connector, and found one on sale at ebay.

*Got rid of the AsRock Motherboard and got a Gigabyte instead so don't mind that picture with it.

*Got rid of that Cooler Master PSU and went with a Corsair HX850i PSU

My plans for future upgrades
- LED interior lightning (white) - More HDD, like higher SSD capacity, 2-3 more 4 Tb drives. - 2x GTX980 or Just wait and see Pascal

Your photography skills remind me of literature images....... very well done.

I think the PSU is overkill for this system but it is a solid unit. I like that you used 16GB of memory.

How is the SSD performing?

was there an issue with the Asrock mobo?

Really nice build......

SSD is Ok there isn't any problems, but I could use a higher capacity. The AsRock , well I wanted to go SLI later down the road and it doesn't support it.
