Description

This is my first gaming PC and it is amazing. In reality I was hoping to play at 1080p for CSGO because I had a laptop that did not have a good screen. Of course I will play more games such as Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, the OLD CoD's, and other games that I find fun. This PC runs Battlefield 1 Beta at around 90 fps at ultra settings which is amazing. I know the power supply is overkill BUT it is $45 on amazon which was an amazing deal. I got the monitor a little late but man is it amazing and I've never had a curved monitor so this is a big deal. The 2tb of storage is because I am hoping to continue my YouTube channel and I am going to be archiving some Twitch streams which will take up a lot of space, so yeah. I wanted to go team Corsair so I bought a strafe keyboard because I didn't want a super clicky keyboard and the mouse was pretty cheap and it was Corsair so I just went with that.

To conclude, this PC is a beast and I am hoping to have many years with this PC build. I am hoping to upgrade my MOBO and GPU in around 5 years. Yes I know that is a long time but I know my PC will last that long so I don't have to worry. Another note is I just wanted to waste as little as possible which caused me to get a case without a side panel. Another reason why I got this case is because either way the PC is not on my desk because I don't have enough space. So yeah that's my PC which is amazing for the price. Now of course there is tax and shipping so the total price probably went to around $1400 which isn't to bad.

Any questions? Just ask me in the comments :)

Nice build man! I would recommend getting an SSD along with the HDD because it boosts the performance, and it's extra storage. I think that an 850 evo 250GB SSD would be nice!

I was thinking of getting that down the line but a HDD is perfectly fine for me.

Overall but I personally would have gone with the new skylake achitecture so I can have more room for future upgrades

PSU is from a dodgy manufacturer, I personally would replace it with a higher quality unit soon if I were you. Everything else looks great!

tiny_voices 4 Builds 1 point 31 months ago

This. Sentey made some good PSUs and some junk. This one, unfortunately, is junk.

Pcmater submitter 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Really? Well RIP me lol

tiny_voices 4 Builds 1 point 30 months ago

Yeah, this is a 576w PSU labeled at 725w and even then the overall quality of components used i not good. It is not a good PSU.

Pcmater submitter 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

So really the main problem is that it is marketed as a 725w and isn't that or is the PSU just bad in general?

tiny_voices 4 Builds 2 points 30 months ago

Both. It's not a good quality or performing unit even at 500w which is what it SHOULD be labeled at.

Sentey is not that bad they are a tier 3 at the worst tier 2 for their golden series. Superflower makes up the parts they use. Jonnyguru actually reviews several sentey PSU which had favorable ratings and successfully passed load tests. But this one with its 48 amps on the 12 v r ail is more suited for 600w rather than 725. Poor marketing and not necessarily poor quality.

johngerges582 1 point 30 months ago

Sentey no longer has anything Super Flower made. Everything that they sell power supply wise , is junk.

This model is made by Sinyang.

Who knows I may do it later and get a fully modular one but it was 45$ so I got it. And thanks :)

How do you feel about the monitor??I'm looking to buy one for myself

Pcmater submitter 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

Honestly its a good monitor but I would recommend getting a normal IPS monitor that is 1080p. I think a curved screen is just paying for a cosmetic look.

JohnLocke 1 point 30 months ago

ahh okay thanks for the tips..its hard finding a monitor with freesync on a budget

Im looking to build a pc soon and i wanted to know what was the hardest part? This is a build im considering btw http://pcpartpicker.com/list/GV8qm8 its supposed to be quiet but also powerful. I have some parts from a prebuilt that i can use (8 gig stick of ram and a 500 gig hard drive) and already have all the peripherals. [REMOVED]

The sale of those keys violate Microsoft ToS, and the keys may be unexpectedly disabled. Recommending, suggesting, advising, encouraging, hinting, or in any way implying these keys as a solution or option is not allowed on this site.

sheesh didnt mean to rile you up.

Arkwoman1990 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Manirelli is just informing you that they violate microsoft tos. You didn't rile him up as this is his normal response to people posting such links.

jbinder 1 point 29 months ago

links? i only said i might get a you know what. It feels like harry potter now lmao.

Pcmater submitter 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

If your looking to have a lot of games I think you should also get an HDD for mass storage just in case you decide to download movies or other things. But that's just my opinion.

Does it matter? lga 1150 is still very viable. Enjoy your day x

Pcmater submitter 1 Build 1 point 30 months ago

I went with it because I didn't want to spend so much on a mobo because with those CPU's the mobo's are pretty expensive. I want an ATX mobo btw.

Thanks for the compliments first of off :) The reason I bought that case was because I wasn't planning on putting it on my desk because I don't have a big enough desk. The PSU is fine for now and I'm not worried that anything will happen. Lastly my YouTube channel is Bluzo.
