Well i set out to build the most budget Gaming machine I could. This build is a many months old and it is still going strong. I had a r9 290 in it for a bit, but it died, no idea how. So i swapped it out for an old GTX 660 i bought from a friend of mine. I never got to use the 290 for more than a week hence why I leave it out of the build, but now that i think about it, i did not even need it. I got it off ebay if that matters toward anything. and through out that week I had it I did some testing and yes I do get full GPU performance. I did not notice a bottleneck.
Processor: I love it, meets all my needs, and it runs cool.
Cooler:(just bought it the day after the pics....) Holy **** the temps are insane, i absolutely love this cooler!
Mobo: I would like a more modern bios but i cannot complain for the price.
GPU: the 660plays anything i throw at it, im not the kind of person who want to max out everything, i bough the 290 for ***** and giggles, but the gtx is a work horse.
Case: im looking for a new one, it offers no cable management. as the pics show, i have to cut some portions of the PSU sleeving so i can route it through the back.
PSU: Enermax makes some great budget power supplies, and i have no had a single problem.
Ram: Its been great, its an older spec but it still works great.
HDD: well its a hard drive....
DVD: eh it works.
all in all it was a great experience.
