Description
Had my trusty Asus G73-jh for the last 4 years with no issues. However the last 2 months the machine was dying randomly and was having a hard time running newer games. Was lucky to get 20 fps in D3:RoS, and don't even get me started on trying to play Titanfall.
CPU Went with the 4770k for some light video editing I will be doing. Also, gotta love those Microcenter prices.
CPU Cooler H100i is the best
MoBo Asus reliability
Ram Standard 8gb, 1600mhz.
Storage Really happy with the start up times and load times. Going to be adding a couple of WD Blacks soon.
GPU I was actually pretty impressed with the 750ti, but I actually swapped it with my dad's GPU the MSI 760.
Case IMHO, the best looking case out there. I love this case and it was a breeze to build in, the hot-swap bays are pretty cool too.
PSU Semi-modular pretty nice, got it for 89.99 at Microcenter on refurb (even though I didn't know it was refurb), and it seems to be functioning nicely. Also I can still go SLI on the 760 if I ever wanted to.
OS Love windows 8.1, everything runs smooth.
Overall I had fun with this build, took about 2 hours to assemble. Everything running perfectly at the moment.
Edit 1: Added 2x2tb WD Black's in Raid 1.
