Red Bull Mini Fridge Custom Water-Cooled Infinity Mirror Build (5 of 5)

pcpartpicker...... Thank you so much for featuring this build. It probably will be the last one for a bit but it gives me inspiration and motivation to make my next build better than the last! Thank you!!

Please watch the video to see full rgb infinity mirror lighting work

Overclocks: Overclocked to 4.5ghz but lowering due to temps and stability

1080 ti is +145 core and +275 memory w/ Afterburner

This is my last Red Bull Mini Fridge PC build..... Loved my first one (Red Bull Mini Fridge Custom Water-Cooled PC (1 of 5) This one is my favorite one. I use to own a pcpp featured build called "Zombie Hunter 2"** which I used some parts and look in this one. I upgraded from the 7700k to the 3700x but kept the 1080 ti and watercooling system. This build is mainly for gaming and surfing. I use mainly the 49" ultrawide but have the 65" 4k tv too. I enjoy the 49" at 144hz more.

The build is built from a Red Bull Mini Fringe totally stripped and everything removed to convert it to a pc case.

RED BULL VESTFROST BARTENDER SIZE COOLER

Well I have to take this apart 100% Every bold and screw, then I have to pull out the refrigerator system, taking out all the copper tubing and everything. Then I take the inner shell which has 2 inch thick insulation and a double layer of plastic and have to remove all of that also.

RGB Light System: Barrow LRC2.0 RGB LED system

I really like the Barrow LRC 2.0 lights and remote. There are so many cool mode and everything. This is the second build I used this with and I'd probably not use another RGB setup

Connections:

There is 2 usb 3.0 ports and 2 UBS 2.0 ports from the motherboard HDMI and a display port The motherboard has Bluetooth and wifi

*(5 of 5) This case from what I have read has only had 400 in production.... I don't believe it because I now have 4 in my possession.

I'm sure I left somethings out but please just ask, Thank you for looking and keep on building!!

Part Reviews

CPU

Going to this from an i7 7700k was a no brainer. The Intel chip gave me a slight bottleneck and this exceed my 1080 ti

Motherboard

So far... Great. Worked right out of the box with my Ryzen 7 3700x without bios flash needed... Wifi, Bluetooth, 5v & 12v rgb, everything I need

Video Card

I've had this since launch... It's working great!!

Custom

My favorite rgb kit.... Barrow rocks

Well lots of creativity but this screams "SECRET OF THE OOZE" TMNT. What was the man hours on this. Great looking! Can't really say much more than that.

This is an absolutely amazing build! I have to admit that I'm a little envious of your creativity in making a build like this come together. I don't think I'd ever be able to come up with something like this and make it work. Well done!

What are VRM temps like on that motherboard with a 3700X??????

  • 1 point

I can look but I swapped it out with Fujipoly Ultra Extreme XR-m Thermal Pad

I read some have temp issues so I swapped it out even tho I heard it's more with apu cpus. I can post temps later when I get home but I think it's fine

This is like the culmination of the Mini-fridge PC mods you've done in the past. That infinity mirror is so over the top (+1). I am definitely putting this in my Hall of Fame list (in my profile). Congrats on the feature!

Awesome gaming config!

What voltages/LLC did you use do overclock the R7 3700X?

  • 1 point

This is a new oc, 1.45v and auto on llc but I've been running mine at 4.35 @ 1.35 but temps however did go up and some stability issues... so I'll be lowering it and keeping my 1080 ti oc mainly. I know that the 1080ti is a slight bottleneck as the bottleneck calculator shows. Plus I hate high temps.

I have my gpu at +145 core and +275 memory very stable... I'll be happy with just that

I really hope your 3700x does 4.5ghz with PBO and it's not a static overclock

Zen 2 is incredibly fragile and known to degrade above 1.3v, so stock (or PBO) is the best for long term performance

Yes stock will push higher voltages but that can't be used to find the max voltage.

  • 1 point

Yeah... I'm agreeing with you. Plus it's a bit powerful for my gpu so I'm not needing to stress out my cpu for no reason. It games and all fine even stock. Not liking high temps either

  • 1 point

And thank you... This is actually my first personal Ryzen build and I'm use to Intel that seems like there is always room to overclock

  • 1 point

Yeah AMD did a really good job with pushing the silicon to its absolute limit stock

I would recommend PBO and pushing RAM
