Description

Put this together after I realized my poor FX-8350 wouldn't run VR like I wanted it to. (occasional crashes in extreme load games.) M.2 drive boots in 16 seconds! I play VR, and my wife can use the same PC to browse the web simultaneously, so it's doing pretty good. The Noctua cooler kicks ***, I have yet to see any temps above 42C under load, and I'm only using one of their 140mm fans that were included. Extra RAM was unnecessary, 16GB breezed through everything, but might as well fill all the slots while I was at it. The case cable management was very good considering it's low price, and the Apevia fans were a nice price/airflow/illumination compromise that stay quite and move plenty of air.

mmmm, close, I actually got it at $100 for 2x8GB sticks (x2, so $200 for 32 GB total) but I couldn't find that option here for the white ones. It was this or corsair RGB, which at that capacity and speed were like $5 more at the time. Should've gotten them just for the lights haha
