Description

I upgraded my GPU from RX 580 to RX 5700 - And decided to upgrade my case too!

The Louqe Ghost S1 has been interesting to me for a while, it's just very difficult to get a hold of in Europe. I found it was available via Amazon's US Store. So i decided to bite the bullet and go for it. It cost a lot more than it should because of having to pay larger shipping fees and import taxes. But it's definitely worth it. It's the best case i've had to date by far. It's also very easy to build with considering it's small size.

I recycled all of the components from my previous build with the exception of a 120mm fan (BeQuiet Pure Wings 2) - my previous build only supported 92mm. And the new RX 5700 GPU i purchased along with it.

My only issue (as usual) is with cable management - the top down view looks amazing, as does the GPU side. But the Motherboard side of the build doesn't look too good in cable management terms. You can't see the cables because the sides aren't see-through but i know they are messy. I will attempt to re-do the cable management at some point.

I would definitely recommend the Louqe Ghost S1 if you can get one.

Thermals have been great so far considering it only has one chassis fan. CPU - 32c on idle and 38/39 while gaming (1440p) .. GPU - 69/72 while gaming. With the bottom mounted fan running as exhaust.

I wish they would add this case to the parts list already

I’m thinking about purchasing this gpu, and I was wondering how’s its performance?

To be honest. Since upgrading from RX 580 from MSI, I've had some issues with crashing on a couple of games. Not saying it's definitely the GPUs fault, but I didn't experience it with the 580.

Are you able to overclock the gpu?

Sure. I haven't though.

I'm asking myself this as well.

Great build! I'm planning to do something very similar as soon as I get my hands on the Ghost.

Are the CPU temps really that good under heavy load? I thought it would run hotter without top exhaust fans.

Yeah. I've never gone over 38.
