Description

Built this as an upgrade from my old build. Which was very low budget(Amd Athlon 5350 and an Asus r7 240) so this is a major upgrade. I don't do much gaming but plan onto getting more into it.

CPU: Basically I was going to get an I5-4690k but I really didn't wanna spend the money and the I3-4170 is cheap and will do everything that I need it for. Motherboard: Will support all upgrade I would want to do maybe a I5-4690k and also another GTX 960. Memory: Only 8GB's for now and have the opportunity to upgrade to 16GB. Don't see much of a need for more then 16GB tho. Storage:250 GB SSD mainly for Windows, some games, iTunes and just some random files. 1 TB HDD for basically everything else. Graphics Card: Didn't wanna spend more then $200 for this since I was on somewhat of a budget, and this plays all the games i own so far. Case: Love how this one looks. Wanted the window and also love all the options for cable management. Power Supply: More then enough power for future upgrades I have in mind. Also modular so I plan on after market white cables. Monitor: Only reason I got this was because of a black friday deal and I also have a 19" no name monitor.

I don't play many games but so far, GTA V: 70 FPS on medium/high settings. Also Black Ops 2: 195 FPS on highest settings. I don't play many games besides that at the moment. Very fast compared to my old build and almost silent, all I can hear is fans.

Unsure of the CPU choice? But like you said you can always upgrade it over time. You need an after market CPU cooler.

I probably should've went with the I5 to save money in the long run but what ya gonna do and yea I was already looking at after market ones but haven't found any that I liked yet.

How are your temperatures using only two case fans? I plan on using the same case and am considering using more than the ones they give you. Overall a very nice build!

Love the build also in the future I would suggest picking up a Cryorig h7, I know stock cooler will be fine since your not overclocking the chip but it would fit in aesthetically with that sweet white RAM ;)

I barely game so the I3 is more the enough power for me but I still have a lot of room to upgrade in the future.
