Description

Technically my first build. I intend to use this computer for gaming. It was originally going to have two GTX 960s and a 6300, then my friend offered me his 290x's for $480, which is a fair price which I took, then my 6300 fried.

The hottest my gpu's have gotten is 78c and the hottest my processor has gotten is 40c. The only issue I've had with my cards is the drivers, which I switched to catalyst and changed some settings and everything became normal.

The case was not an easy choice. Originally I had the Define R5, but so many features that I was going to add in, came pre-installed onto the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, and also, it was cheaper to just buy the enthoo luxe, (Which was on sale for $129.99, usually it's $150.) Totally not regretting that decision.

I have derp squad and msi dragon stickers from @Rysher101 on twitter, as well as a case badge.

Nice build. I did a similar build with a 4gb 960.

excellent build, I think you would only serve a SSD for the system, it should be enough a 120 gb.

Already planning on it, I'm actually looking into the Samsung 250 gb 850 evo

An Intel cpu is a better choice. Not bad of a deal on the gpu's.

A big corsair case like the 550d would've worked too

I would identify as a corsair fanboy, but I'm not a fan of the 550d

the enthoo luxe is a much better case... so that was a good decision!

Sweet. How did the original 6300 get fried?

Fried was a bad term to use, more or less, pins broke
