Description

This build was a huge adventure to me and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bricking it throughout the entire thing. I had a few hitches along the way such as; Not fully connecting the 20+4pin connector Attaching both the VGA and HDMI to the motherboard IO instead of the GPU Forgetting to remove the heatsink fan before installing But I'm glad to say it works perfectly.

BENCHMARKS: The Division: Avg FPS: 60.9 Typical FPS: 615 Avg CPU: 70 Avg GPU: 98 This is running 1080p on ALL of the highest settings

Controversial components: I know someone will mentioned that I have a z97 MOBO and a good heatsink on a locked CPU The reasons I did this is mainly because the PC mate is great for the price, also the heatsink will keep temp down whilst looking way more aesthetically pleasing than the Intel stock cooler.

I will also be having a more professional camera to take pictures of the pc with, once the setup is complete. Not done due to my room taking a while to redecorate.

+1 Nice build, the only thing to add is an ssd atleast Samsung 850 evo 120gb for your OS. Some people might have ago with you about that PSU, just don't stress it and it will be fine.

Couldn't agree more. Saving up a little for a simple 120gb SSD for OS soon. And the PSU, For what it's worth and its semi-modularity I saw it as the only thing that would work for me personally. Thanks btw
