Nice clean build. I have a question for you that might answer a question I have for myself. I am upgrading my current pc to similar specs as yours (parts in delivery) but the one thing I am unsure of is the monitor. I currently have the same one as you but was wondering if someone with a similar build thinks it's worth upgrading to 1440p for instance. Again nice clean build

Well, it depends. 1070 can definitely handle 1440p, but the monitor you have now has a 144hz refresh rate. So really it just comes down to if you prefer higher resolution or higher framerate.

I'm using an EVGA SC 1070 with a 1440p 144Hz G-Sync monitor (Dell S2716DG). My build isn't yet updated on PCPP to reflect these changes, but I digress. It's a great combo because older games hit 100+ FPS, and newer ones hover around 50-70 FPS with G-sync making it buttery smooth. I highly reccomend 1070 + 1440p.

Well I'm I think it's worth it, 1440p for GTX 1070 is the sweet spot! (If you don't mind playing below 50fps) I'm also planning to upgrade from 1080p to 1440p or 4k resolution.

Great shots! I wish I had better lighting in my room to use an SLR on my set up.

Great build as well!

I do have bad ambient light in my room. I used a strobe or speedlight with diffuser for the lighting effect

+1 it is a great build and the wire management is beautiful. May the force be with this one young padawan learner.

The only thing I would change is peeling off the sticker on the SSD. Otherwise awesome build!

Thanks! Yes absolutely! Actually, it's hard to find those white 8pins sleeved cables in Philippines. :(
