Description

Built this computer for gaming/streaming/video editing. I noticed one thing about the HAF X case. If you want a second fan at the top of the case you will need to rotate the second fan 90º to get the wires to fit through. That's the only problem I had with this case. The condenser microphone and mixer I got for free, I just added it in there because it is also part of the computer. I switched from a 60hz monitor to a 144hz and it's like I put on glasses for the first time. If you are looking to invest into a new monitor I highly recommend getting a 144hz monitor. I bought the 1050w power supply so that I can buy another 980ti in the future. For the H100i GTX, the stock fans are **** but gets the job done. I plan on replacing all the stock fans, except the front fan, in the future. The two fans that I replaced was the side fan and the rear fan. The K70 RGB is a questionable purchase. Originally I was going to buy the Das Keyboard Professional 4 Clicky, but it was sold out at the time and I did not want to wait. The keyboard is aesthetically pleasing and feels great to type on but I am already having problems with the firmware/software. This is a week after the purchase and I am encountering problems already :[. If you have any questions about my build please let me know! I will be glad to answer!

I've got that exact monitor and it is great. Everyone complains about tn panels not having nice colors compared to an ips panel, but this one has pretty good colors and 144hz to boot. I am a bit curious though, why not invest into the acer xb270hu? It seems like money wasn't much of an issue in your case.

Hey, in my opinion if I were going to spend $600 I would buy another GTX 980ti and then spend some extra money for water cooling. I have two other 24" monitors along with this new BenQ monitor so they all match in size. Maybe in the future I will think about purchasing 3 27" 144hz monitors.

Do what I did and get the acer hb270hu, you won't regret it unless you get a crappy one as they had some QC issues lol. Nice build, would like to see more pics

Hey I just checked out that monitor, I think that it looks extremely sleek. I mentioned in a previous comment that I had 2 other 24" monitors and wanted to at least upgrade one to 144hz. In the future maybe I will get 3 27" monitors :). I will take more pictures for you <3

there's a 24" 1080p g-sync from acer that's pretty nice also. Thanks ;p

LOL I thought the 5 year old Acer I replaced was old... hahaha. Hopefully by the time your monitor dies out, 27" 144hz IPS monitors will be a lot cheaper.
