Description

Here's a small form factor build that I recently finished. I had a **** ton of money (and still do) in store credit from my job so I decided to use it and build this bad boy. I'll mainly use this for gaming when I'm on the go, my main build is way too heavy to carry. The photos show two 7750s in CF. This was an impulse buy at work, so I'll be returning both and replacing them with the 660Ti.

I also did not pay 1K+ for this outta my pocket. I get cool discounts at my job and some of these parts were free. The temps were obtained via Prime95. I haven't tested it out gaming yet, though. The name was obtained from Asuka's Evangelion unit in Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Regardless, enjoy!

The discounts and how they put up with my availability is the ONLY reason why I am still there. That is the ONLY bright side ahahahah.

I have this case and my cable management is crap I was gonna make it neat but im like f dat, very nice build dude but no hdd for more storage? Do you have the stock front fan or is that the enermax?

  • 1 point

Thank you!

That's the Enermax. The HDD is hidden in the front panel of the case >:)

Make it neat! I didn't use a modular power supply and stuffed all of the cables where the 3.5 HDD or the ODD would have gone. It was a pain getting it just perfect, but its so worth it!

Wait the HDD or SSD? I totally just mind f$%!#& that thats a nonmodular psu, I could have made it neater but I used a optical drive

The HDD. The SSD is mounted on the right side of the case, inside. There's some foam in the front panel of the case that doesn't allow the HDD to vibrate a lot, so it worked to my advantage.

Dude, take that **** out! I bet you use it as a cup holder, huh?

You need to post that pick of the HDD dude heeel no thats BA I might try it out. And that is what I use it for but its pretty low

I'm too lazy to get up :p

If you take the front panel off and look directly above the fan that's attached to it, that's where I placed my HDD.

I work, go to school, and... wait for it...

I still live with my parents. I'm only 20 years old and they want me here, so why not? They're like my older roommates.

Ah my gawd, Asuka's build is simply beautiful. What wallpaper are you getting to go along with it? I think something like this would complete the theme.

i really like this build. love the red theme. are you getting the gigabyte version 660 ti when you return the 7750's?? because i think you should grab one that has a black pcb so it matchesbetter. i think the blue would just be ugly

I am, or I may grab the NVIDIA version. I have to cop it from my job, because that's where the store credit is from. I'll do research on it online to see which has a black PCB.

And thanks for the compliment!

This build is almost 6 years old and it still rocks. Very nice work with the cables, I wish Fractal would make small improvements to this case, like inverting the PSU and mobo position and putting a small HDD cage (or sell one to install on the drive bays.
