Description

Well As you can see it calls for almost 800$ used some coupons at local stores and such and got some things really cheap . An example is my Harddrive I got for 23$ , Videocard for 117$ , PSU for only 43$ , and the case for 15$ !

Well get me some feedback on my first build ever :) THANKS !

I'm divided here. On one hand, I really like your CPU/mainboard/memory combo, I think it's a very solid budget platform. On the other hand, I dislike the case, video card, and optical drive.

I can't hate on the case too much, though - I think $15 is certainly a fair deal on that! But why's the optical so pricey? Software suite or something?

The optical drive listed is a lightscribe drive, which are quite expensive. In his build, he just has a normal HP DVD-RW drive, which probably cost a lot less.

Agreed, he could have gotten another optical drive for wayyyy cheaper, but I'm not sure. Maybe you're right and it does come with a combo.

Ok we'll I actually only paid around 30.00 for the drive . I forgot to order one when ordering parts so when everything arrived I simply just went to a store and bought one lol .

I think you could have gotten a much better card for the price, like a 7770 or 650 ti, but otherwise nice build.

An SSD is a must. It totally changes the entire PC experience.

Nice build and congrats but if I were you, I would lose the seagate, get a better hdd (NOT SEAGATE) :)

What have you got against them? They've been around for a long time and I've had good experience with them.

Thank you Seagate I think is perfectly fine , I am also going to invest some Money into a SSD , and in the future a better Video card as I got this one for 117$

There is nothing wrong with Seagate that isn't equally wrong with all other hard drives. Hard drives can fail almost randomly, regardless of brand, in my experience. Remember the Hitachi "Deathstars"? I have a 4 1/2 year old 1tb in the computer I am typing on RIGHT NOW, still doing just fine.
