Description

So here's my First PC build. I like unique stuff, so this PC also kinda unique. Also this PC is kinda AliExpress special because it uses 90% parts bought from AliExpress. Parts that are not from Ali are PSU and case. Here are the full specs:

  • MOBO: Kllisre X79P
  • CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2690 v0 (8C 16T @ 3.3GHz)
  • RAM: Kllisre 4x8 GB RGB ECC REG 1333MHz (OC to 1866MHz and running quad channel)
  • SSD: Goldenfir White SSD 256GB
  • GPU: Sapphire RX 470 4 GB NITRO (OC to 1375MHz/2100MHz +75mv) (with OC in benchmarks sits between RX 480 and RX 580) (https://imgur.com/a/BOpjOv0)
  • PSU: EVGA 450W BG 80+
  • CPU cooler: 120mm AIO DarkFlash Aigo DT-120 (never goes above 60c because I leave the side panel off)
  • Case: from my families first PC whitch was a pre-built in ~2005

So yeah it's pretty good PC for 365 euros (400$).

Beware that these HUANAN X79 boards don't have good VRM cooling, so don't overclock. (The E5-2xxx series only allows BCLK OC so it's not really worth it anyways)

The PSU would also be where I'd be concerned if you plan a GPU upgrade.

You did a nice job with your build. 370 dollars for a pc like that is no slouch. It will play games just fine for you :) Im also a sucker for older cases getting reused.

This is a solid build. It looks very clean cable management-wise, but man that back panel is just begging for you to put a fan there.
