Description

First I want to apologize for the horrid picture lighting/quality. Currently active duty Air Force stationed in a motel sized room. Hence not a lot of space to work with.

My fiance' recently got into a car accident, and totaled the vehicle. One way or another we ended up getting a check for more then we payed for the car (Was 2 months old). So using the extra cash I decided now was the time to build.

Unfortunately the vendor (eetronix) who was supposed to deliver my HUE lighting was unable to deliver. So please enjoy my very dark system.

Last Note: love the windowed 630. Cant believe they didn't sell it like this when released.

After everything was said and done it was about another 100$ when i purchased the parts a week ago. Thats excluding the mouse keyboard speakers monitors that I already had.

Looks nice. Although, I think the fans on the Noctua should point the other way.

I thought so to but according to the fans the other way would have heat blowing onto the graphics card. Something I wanted to avoid.

I think he meant 180 degrees the other way. So the fans are blowing towards the rear of the case and not towards the front judging from the arrows on the fan.

Nice build BTW. Almost the same build in spirit I have posted in the parts review forum. No one has commented on it so I am thinking its an OK build since yours has lots of up votes.

yea your build looks good to me. No complaints so far with my setup. I recommend all the parts.

Did you have to do anything special to get the noctua NH-D14 mounting bracket to fit in that orientation? I couldn't get mine to fit that way on my Sabertooth Z87 :/

Not that I can recall, however I remember it being a tight fit. As others have pointed out though, I should have oriented it a diffrent way. Follow the instructions closely to get optimal airflow.

thank you for the reply! I took my build apart and, while it was indeed a tight fit I was able to get it mounted in the correct orientation.

I really just can't like the noctua cooler sorry :(

Other than that this build is great :) (not that the noctua isn't great)

Yea it is not the best looking. However, you can not argue with its performance.
